Vessel Traffic Services - VTS

Baybridge VTS systems provide an efficient way of controlling, monitoring and managing waterway vessel traffic, surface and underwater and even low flying aircraft. These systems integrate radar scanners with camera and video images, as well as AIS and other sensors with SSR's advanced Composite Tracker. This simple, but extremely efficient technology gives port, of whatever size or scope, an effective solution for port security and surveillance.
 
Radar images are displayed via an electronic chart or a GEO-tiff image, giving enhanced situation awareness. The Composite Tracker accepts and consolidates input of all integrated radar systems, along with AIS, IFF, Sonar, Cameras and other sensors so as to provide a single display of all the data. A fast pan and zoom capability gives wide area coverage or zoom to close, specific area visuals. Custom alarm zone settings permit the system to be set to issue an alarm warning if targets enter a particular area.
